The joke goes, “How many municipal employees to change a light bulb?” Well, when it comes to the ladies public toilets at Willard Beach, apparently none!
This convenience is highly inconvenient, as for the last six months women wishing to relieve themselves have to grope about in the pitch dark to find a cubicle and loo paper. This is no joke!
If it’s a wiring problem, then for goodness sake remove the shutters from the windows so that some natural light can enter the cubicles. Our peak season is around the corner and this is all we have to offer! How on earth can the the poor toilet attendant lady see what to clean!
Another joke: “How many municipal employees does it take to put up a sign?” Again none! It’s too difficult. But thanks and kudos to Mica who have done just that. What wonderful signs you have put up at Salt Rock, Boulders and Willard, warning people of rip tides and if in doubt, not to go out. Your bins and signs make our town a better place. We salute you!
