On behalf of the community of Shakaskraal I would like to thank the roads department for erecting the much-needed speed bumps on the R102 in Shakaskraal.
Although it has come after the loss of many lives, the community are now relieved that they can conduct their errands more safely. We had a safe festive season except for some inconsiderate drivers who still ignore these bumps. Little do they realize that soon they would be spending a lot of money replacing suspension parts on their vehicles. Good luck to them!
I would also like to thank North Coast Courier reporter Sboniso Dlamini who has done a wonderful job covering the needs of the community. Well done, you are truly a person who takes his job seriously. His frequent calls and concerns about the progress shows his dedication and passion about what he does.
I would like to wish everyone a safe and peaceful 2016 a thanks to all that supported me in this effort to have the speed bumps put in place.
