The Anglican Diocese of Natal is keen to repair and renovate the historic Church of St Thomas in Verulam.
I have agreed to carry out a detailed survey of the existing structure and finishes which are in a very dilapidated state. However, it would be useful to have as much background information on the church building as possible in order to complete a full and accurate survey before detailed decisions can be made on the exact nature of the repair and renovation works.
If your readers have any photographs or other information on St Thomas’ Church they are prepared to share, I would be most grateful and will arrange to collect or, if possible, send the information to me by email at archilever@gmail.com. My cell is 082 657 0094.
