I would like to sincerely express my feelings about the performance of our Ward 23 (Shayamoya) councillor, Mr John Pahla.
If all the development that I see happening in this ward is all his effort, then he is doing an extraordinary job. We had a very bad road to a community hall. It was was not tarred and when it rained we had to walk over mud. Again when it was dry, we had to suffer because of all the dust that filled our houses when cars passed by.
Now, as we speak, the road is fully tarred. We walk free of dust and mud. We are more than happy. This morning I saw a contractor installing street lights. We are living in proper houses, drinking clean water and have proper roads with street lights. What else we can need in this ward?
We sometime have to appreciate what our leaders are doing for us and complain when apprpriate. Complaining all the time is not a good idea. If the community of Shayamoya thinks like I do, I would say Mr John Pahla must lead us until Jesus come. I do hope that this letter serves to say thank you for all what you done for Shayamoya.
