(With Apologies to Shaggy)
They said I was corrupt with Shaik, but it wasn’t ME.

They accused me of rape but it wasn’t ME,
They said I took a shower to cure Aids but it wasn’t ME,
They said I allowed the Guptas to land at Waterkloof Air Force Base but it wasn’t ME,
They said I fired Nene because of the Guptas but it wasn’t ME,
They said the economy lost five hundred billion Rands but it wasn’t ME,
They said I ignored the Public Protector but it wasn’t ME,
They said I didn’t regard the Public Protector’s recommendations as binding but it wasn’t ME,
The Police Minister said I wasn’t liable for anything but it wasn’t ME,
They said I refused to pay back the money but it wasn’t ME,
The SIU, task team and Public Protector said I didn’t take a Penny from Nkandla but it wasn’t ME,
My legal team gave me bad advice but it wasn’t ME,
They said recommendations are recommendations not verdicts but it wasn’t ME,
They made me take an alternate approach but it wasn’t ME,

Let me say, Fellow South Africans, I wish to reiterate that any action that has been found not to be in keeping with the Constitution happened because of a different approach and different legal advice. It all happened in good faith and there was no deliberate effort or intention to subvert the Constitution on my part. But it wasn’t ME.
The matter has caused a lot of frustration and confusion, for which I apologise, on my behalf and on behalf of government. But it wasn’t ME.
Heeeh . . Heeeh. . Heeeh . . Eish Jesu . . .Tiko. .
My God . . Heeeh . . Heeeh . . Heeeh . . .
Let me say for the last time, listen properly: IT WASN’T ME . . . IT WASN’T ME . . . IT WASN’T ME . . . IT WASN’T ME.
