More good thinking?

I would like to congratulate our Home Affairs Dept which has decided to call in the major banks to assist with the issuing of ID cards. The banks have the facilities to produce bank cards, so why not ask them to do ID cards too. Good thinking.
In the same way, it makes sense for the IEC to call in the cellphone companies to capture voters’ address details. Every cellphone has to be RICA’d. As most people have cellphones, especially the young, all these addresses are already captured. Those without cellphones or who haven’t given in their addresses, can still use the IEC registration offices.
People with illegal or stolen phones would not get registered and we will close down another opportunity for corruption.
