I am greatly disappointed. Please could the DA explain to me and the community what the reason is for giving Colin Marsh the red card?
I have read the front page of The Courier and it is terrifying what is said by Ann McDonnell’s daughter, Tammy Colley. Is this the kind of DA leader we need at this critical time in our country? Or would you prefer someone who has experience and knows the ins and outs of what is being done and needed on the North Coast?
She will be starting as a “newbie”, as described by herself, and that saddens me that all the hard work that Colin Marsh has put in has basically gone to the gutters.
Nevertheless, it’s part of our government to give family preference and enrol them in jobs that clearly does not fit the candidate, and not having the community in mind, so we wish you the best of luck and hope with all your “years of experience” and “knowledge” that you will carry the North Coast and all the DA supporters who follow you.
I also want to comment on the fact that the DA wants to involve young people and grow. If this is the way of trying to convince and get young people to join, you have clearly failed as this move only shows that the DA is becoming more like the ANC, where family members gets preference in high profile jobs. It is not what the community needs. Why would we vote for someone who has come in last minute and has not shown us any headway in what she is about and what she will be doing?
Ridiculous move from the DA!
