The front page headline “DA’s Marsh gets the boot” (Courier, May 27) was extremely disturbing. The DA has definitely got it all wrong this time.
Their move to replace Marsh with someone who is a newbie – as described by Tammy Colley herself – is a bold move that does not demonstrate growth but rather demonstrates their lack of putting this community and its needs first.
This is not the time to be playing party politics. As a long-standing resident in the area their decision has made me lack confidence in the DA and their ability to service this community to the best of their ability. Ballito needs strong leadership and it is concerning that the DA would rather have a newbie represent this community.
