LETTERS: Victory as one nation

Through the medium of your widely read and esteemed newspaper, I’d like to correct the misconceptions the people, especially politicians, have that the colonisers were responsible for dividing Africa into different countries of language groupings. Please, you irresponsible and trouble-causing politicians, stop misleading the masses by sowing seeds of strife and hatred between the races. We are a happy lot of people in South Africa and Africa at large.
Politicians, observe the smiling faces in the malls, on streets and at sports stadiums, and you will discover that you are totally against the grain concerning racism. You, see one sparrow does not make a summer.
Well, dear politicians, I said all of the above, so that I can now point you to the truth. You see, mankind is not responsible for the different races, languages, colonies and countries. God in His mighty wisdom did this, so that we will be united in diversity. So let us not blame each other, but strive to love one another, just as He intended. Remember, the idiom “Birds of a feather, flock together”.
So too are we humans, don’t you think? Now, look at all the countries of the world. Who colonised them? For further clarification please read the first book of the Bible ie Genesis chapter 11.
The whole of Europe is divided into different countries like Germany, France, Spain, Italy etc etc. Then UK is divided into England, Scotland, Ireland etc. Even the Middle East has all different tribes. So too, the Americans, Austria, Australasia etc. I can go on, but I guess you politicians get my message.
Let us now bury the hatchet that dates back some 6000 years and build a new tomorrow, unflinching in courage and determination until final victory is achieved. Victory as one nation under God.
