I think the whole of Ballito including myself were holding our breath, waiting to see it being incorporated into the new multimillion shopping centre going up next door . . . and having this horrible embarrassing dirty dingy dodgy centre disappear! However, it is not to be apparently.
One suggestion was to make a taxi rank with all the right facilities for commuters on the roof, but what about the rest of the sad looking establishment? Will this place now fall further into disrepair when shoppers chose to shop at the new centre? A sobering thought!
I often wonder what goes through the minds of the holidaymakers and tourists that land up at Ballito Bay Mall. Any update on this establishment would be welcome.
