I moved from Durban to Salt Rock and am now living in Dunkirk Estate.
I would like to make an appeal to the ward councillors of Ballito and Salt Rock to initiate the effort to have the road traffic authority establish facilities at the Salt Rock licence department or at the new Ballito Junction mall offices to renew our driving licences.
There are ample offices available at these places. It would be far more convenient for residents of Ballito and Salt Rock as well as Umhlali and Shakaskraal, than having to travel to KwaDukuza (Stanger) to renew driving licences.
I trust other residents living in these areas will support the call I am making to persuade the councillors concerned to start the process.
