On behalf of all the residents of Sheffield Beach we would like to thank everyone involved in replacement and repair work that was carried out on the access stairways and paths to the beach.

After many attempts through all the various departments over a long period of time we were unable to get any response to have this work done.

Therefore we contacted your paper and arranged for your journalist to run a story which was published four weeks ago.

It goes without saying that highlighting our problem in The Courier gave us the recognition and the voice which brought the situation to the attention of the powers that be.
