Ward councillor Malcolm Hubner replies: This matter has been raised with the directors of amenities and the roads dept on a number of occasions and we are advised that the municipality is awaiting the outcome of an insurance claim. I am, however, more than happy to raise the matter again, however it is important that it is understood that we as councillors can only play a facilitation role and have no power to direct officials to do anything.
