LETTERS: Most successful Fair ever!

After one of the most successful Christmas Country Fairs ever, I would like to thank those generous members of our community who donated their time, expertise, goods or money to a good cause. First of all, I have to thank the local media for the fantastic pre-publicity, ensuring that visitors from near and far got to know about the Fair and made the effort to attend. We had a record attendance of over 2 400 visitors this year.
A big thank you goes to Wayne Hulett of Collisheen Estate who once again made his superb venue available to the Christmas Fair Fund free of charge. We also thank Grant Laatz Electrical, Xtreme Clean, Karibu Farms, Burnedale, Royal Palm Property Holdings, Birdhaven, Roberts and Chaplin, Coastal Farmers, Ballito Autohaus, Pick n Pay, Tiffany’s Spar, Stanger Superspar, Food Matters, ABC Event Furniture Hire, Ekhaya Lights and Wetland Spring Water for their generosity.
Thank you to all our Christmas Fair Fund members who worked tirelessly organising and preparing for the Fair. The Country Fair is the main annual fund-raising event of the Christmas Fair Fund end all money raised is donated to deserving local institutions, individuals and organisations.
