Most of the time you will hear negative comments about government institutions but I would like to give credit where it is due.
Last week I had a misfortune with my belongings, including my passport and ID, and I’m due to travel to the United States next week. When I explained my situation to officials Surefa Abdool, Saneliwe Zondo and Sibonelo Biyela, they assured me a quick turnaround time and prioritized my application.
This was on Tuesday and at 10am on Thursday I received a sms from the department cornfirming that my passport was ready for collection.
It’s all about attitude. There are so many government officials who are really dedicated to serving the people of South Africa.
Keep up the good work
