LETTERS: So sick of the repeats on TV

We absolutely agree with the writer about the “disgusting repeats” that we are shown each and every night by DSTV (“It’s a no-choice, not a Multichoice,” Letters November 25).
l am not only complaining about the repeats, but the adverts also. We are shown the same stupid ones over and over again. l am even “dreaming” about them or maybe l should say having “nightmares” about them!
We purchased our television set and paid DSTV for our “enjoyment” – this was the biggest mistake of our lives and a very expensive one at that! All we do now is watch the news (thank goodness they have not found a way to “repeat” that yet) and go to bed early. We cannot even listen to the radio anymore because the darn electricity is so expensive!
One thing before l close off, we do watch Parliament during the afternoons and get a good laugh at that, so who is complaining?
