Thank you once again Multichoice for proving my point in your response (Content is incredibly expensive, Courier, December 9).
As usual, Multichoice has missed the point. I take umbrage at the assumption that I do not know how to surf the channels or find out what is on offer. Very often the advertisements for the various shows/episodes are cut off mid-stream and one gets to hear what the show is but not when it will air and on which channel.
I am sorry Multichoice but “incredibly expensive” is not going to cut it. We pay for a service and that is “incredibly expensive”. You maintain that Multichoice has 5,7 million customers. Where is all the money going if it is not being used to purchase new material? Please will some entrepreneur provide some alternative and break this monopoly! Competition is good for all, particularly the viewer.
