Gated estates have scenic dams where inhabitants can enjoy bird life as well as “catch and release” of fish caught.
The “powers that be” have decided to give the local Sheffield community the same benefits, thus saving themselves tarring costs of potholes! Short-sightedly it will cost them more on legal fees with regards to damaged tyres, rims and suspensions . . . not to talk about possible death due to “avoid the pothole” accidents.
Attached are some examples of the potholes that are continually being patched outside Brettenwood. Fisherman . . . please wear reflective jackets!
