Letter: Went out of their way

My wife and two daughters and I were travelling down from Vryheid to Ballito on Monday December 12 for a few days’ holiday to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday.
Sixty km from Melmoth, the car lost power and would not idle. We were stuck on the roadside. Eventually managed to bypass some of the electronics and got the car going, but it could only get to 75km/hr.
Five hours later we limped into Ballito Nissan. Their workshop was full, they were obviously very busy, and said that they could only take us on Wednesday, but when they heard that we only had a few days here and that I was recovering from a recent heart attack, they really went out of their way to help us.
They squeezed us in late that afternoon, took us to our accommodation, fetched us the next day and got the car repaired quickly and at a reasonable price. So we still managed to fetch my Mom-in-law from the airport and have a good few days holiday as well.
Thank you so, so much Ballito Nissan, you guys are really stars, Cassidy especially. We really appreciate your efforts, and for going the extra mile for us.
