In response to the article “Excellence from nothing” (Courier, February 3), I can honestly say it has inspired me to do the best work and not take anything for granted.
Even if you do not have what others have, you can still achieve what you set your mind to. I come from an advantaged school and I should take advantage of all the opportunities and facilities my school has to offer. I urge all students to take advantage of the privileges you have and be disciplined so that you can also achieve incredible things.
More people in the community and other advantaged schools should reach out to schools such as Nondenisa Secondary School. It is wonderful to know there are already people who are supporting schools and helping them to improve because the students of today are the future of tomorrow.
