Letters: Move the taxi rank to the mall roof

Previously I have written in with suggestions for what we can do with the Ballito Bay Mall once it becomes unoccupied.
These suggestions included an old age home and making it the civic centre? My friends all thought both suggestions were worth consideration!
Now for another couple of ideas.
Give the upstairs roof parking area to our beloved taxis to tide them over until our city fathers (bless them!) eventually get around to sorting out the new taxi rank. Plenty of room and they could wash their taxis without blocking us road users.
Get the SA Police to move into the mall and set up a much-needed charge office and police HQ. Someone has to come up with a solution for this mall or it will become a home for vagrants and squatters.
