Political correctness as is currently practiced by most politicians and political commentators in South Africa today reminds one so much of Hans Andersen, the famous Danish fairy tale writer’s story of the two swindlers who made the emperor and all his followers believe that they made him a stunning new clothes to wear. Only a child’s innocent remark that the emperor was naked shocked the people to reality.
God forbid that South Africans are being swindled from shying away from stark reality for the sake of political correctness.
Let us rather respect each other and work together to grow an economy that will provide jobs and job opportunities for everybody! Stop focusing on the past and of your fellow South African’s skin colour. The Spirit of God dwells in all of us.
