To the driver of MERCEDES NT5xxxx:
Trent is the name you gave us when you reversed into the back of our car at the Ballito Medical Centre. You also put your name and cell number into my phone BUT this number is permanently on voice mail and no matter how many messages I have left, there is still no reply from you so I assume this is either an old number or a number that you do not use any more.
We are pensioners and do not appreciate being made fools of! Did your parents not teach you to respect your elders? This was not even our own car, our daughter in Gauteng lent it to us as we had saved up to go on holiday. Now we have to use this money to repair the damage that you did.
You must have had a good laugh all the way home, thinking we were from “up country” but remember – what goes around, comes around. One day someone will do the same to you, then we will have the last laugh. If this is the way you are starting life, you will not get very far! We trusted you to keep to your word that you would pay for the damage, but obviously you had no intention of doing that.
If you should decide to do the right thing, our number is 082 834 4533.
MR and MRS CHAPMAN
Ballito
