My grateful thanks to the community for the overwhelming support, prayers and positive thoughts following my ordeal on the soccer field in Salt Rock on the morning of Thursday, April 20.
I am indebted to those directly involved in my rescue and will personally thank them all once I am fully mobile again. To whoever found Ruby, our other dog, my gratitude – I received the good news whilst still in the trauma unit. The IPSS paramedics are real angels providing an amazing service.
The care I received at the Ethekwini Hospital throughout my 12-day stay was outstanding. My wounds are healing well, my mobility is improving every day and I am truly blessed to live within such a caring and compassionate community – thank you!
