According to many people, Ballito is the most beautiful town on the North Coast of South Africa, where people come to rest, not only the local population of the country, but also a lot of foreign tourists are ready to fly across the globe for the best climate in the world.
The only negative aspect of the town is the small number of hotels, so that most travellers prefer to stay in the complexes located on the first coastline where you can rent apartments for every taste. One is La Mer, located on the shore of the ocean.
However, strolling along the promenade, people mark the terrifying state of the fence, calling it the rusty disgrace of Ballito. I fully agree with them. I have been trying for two years to convince the management company to change the fence to a more modern one – plastic, like most of the neighbouring complexes.
But so far, efforts remain vain. I believe there are sufficient funds, but the body corporate and managing agents appear to ignore the opinion of the owners. Perhaps publication of this will speed up the issue.
