Mr Rigby Heenan was appointed by our lnkosi and traditional council to serve on the Magwaza Traditional Council and we have requested that he please convey our sincere condolence to the Gawler family.
lnkosi Magwaza and the CEO, William Stainbank, and the lsinduna from the Glendale area are indeed shocked to hear about the senseless murder of Mr Bob Gawler.
He lived at De Mist overlooking our Valley and was fondly known by us all as a very humble man, respected and loved by us all over the many years.
We feel the pain that the family must endure, and we pray that these culprits may soon be arrested and dealt with accordingly.
Our traditional council does not tolerate crime in any form, and we will assist wherever any assistance is required. We believed that these elements do not reside within our community.
