Letter: Giraffe in a pothole!

Jokes aside, it needs proper and permanent repair

It is good to see the potholes at the Braeside T-junction being properly repaired at last.

However, I suggest the most serious potholes in the vicinity are at the Umhlali circle near Coastals.

The temporary patching was terrible and never lasted and it is high time the roads department sorted these potholes out properly. There are literally dozens of deep and dangerous holes at this circle and no place to get around them to avoid damage to your vehicle.

Last time a passed there I saw two ears sticking out of the one pothole – thinking it was a rabbit from Flag Farm stuck in there.

I stopped up the road and walked back to rescue it. It was not a rabbit, it was a giraffe!

Jokes aside, it needs proper and permanent repair.

Drive into Umhlali and you will be pleasantly surprised at the repair happening now – Editor.
