I would just like to say a BIG thank you to the Specialised Rescue team for taking the time to assist us in finding our old dog Roxy.
She went missing in the late afternoon on Sunday and after many hours of searching the treacherous gorge area in Chaka’s Rock we eventually contacted Brendan and Carmen Power to assist.
The team arrived around 9pm and managed to find our very traumatised Roxy shortly after they arrived on the rocky outcrop close to home.
It seems she was trying to make her way back home but in her old age couldn’t navigate the stairs leading back up into the gorge area.
The Specialized Rescue team always goes beyond the call of duty in assisting animals and people in distress have managed to do it again.
