Letter: Still no action

These roadworks need to be completed as a matter of urgency before the weeds take over the road.

I have been away for over two months and was astounded to see absolutely no change to the attempted road works between Salt Rock and Tinley Manor on the north bound lane of the N2.

I hear there is another section of road works, being done by the same contractor, further north on the N2, before KwaDukuza, which appears to be abandoned.

The reasons given by SANRAL are not acceptable and I think they need to “come clean” with the public (taxpayers) and divulge what really went wrong with the work done by the contractor involved.

These roadworks need to be completed as a matter of urgency before the weeds take over the road.
