Letter: Speed bumps needed

We find the traffic is becoming horrific starting at 4.45am and speeding past all day long.

Please can someone help. Who do we contact regarding having speed bumps placed in Ipahla Lane in Chaka’s Rock?

I took a letter asking for some bumps into the traffic offices and handed it to the lady, who promised she would see it reached the right person.

I gave all my contacts numbers and I have heard nothing from anyone.

I see a survey gave the increase in Ocean Drive from 3 000 cars about two years back to 18 000 at the moment.

We have children using the road to access the beach together with holiday makers and there are no sidewalks so they walk on the road.

Soon we will have a tragedy as the cars are using the road at speed to connect from Sheffield and Salt Rock to the freeway via Simbithi.

There have been three very unnecessary speed bumps placed in Main Road when one would have slowed the traffic into Chaka’s Rock. Please can someone help!
