Letter: There are still angels!

To the angel who made my week, our paths most likely won't ever cross, but for what you spontaneously did for a girl you didn't know - God bless!

There have been endless smiles and heartfelt bubbles of excitement within me since November 7, following an event in which the lovely senior lady behind me in the till queue in Lifestyle Spar offered to pay for my groceries!

I was personally challenged as a young adult and indeed impacted that in a world where we mind ‘only’ our own business, it’s also worthwhile to once in a while reach out to people who are neither family nor friends! It brings tremendous joy!

To the angel who made my week, our paths most likely won’t ever cross, but for what you spontaneously did for a girl you didn’t know – God bless!
