Welcome to our little piece of paradise! eThekwini Ward 58 stretches from Magwaveni in the north of Tongaat, through the CBD and Tongaat south down to Canelands.
It includes half of Waterloo, being Hammonds Farm and Phase 6. Then Umdloti and La Mercy up the coast to Westbrook Beach. Finally, inland to Mt Moreland and the King Shaka Airport.
Our tourist friendly beaches are well attended over these holidays and officials have been busy preparing for you.
Please listen to their advice as we do not want to lose any of you. The sea is warm and inviting but must be respected. Similarly, the roads are full of visitors and full concentration will keep you safe and sound.
Please enjoy our facilities and respect the environment by not littering. Take as many pictures as you like and just leave your footprints. The municipality and I wish you a peaceful happy Christmas and a joyous New Year.
