I agree with the writer of the letter “Disgusting image” on the article “The hard facts on massage parlours” (February 9).
That picture was indeed disgusting. I had collected three copies to give my family friends in Tongaat.
Fortunately, my wife went through the paper before kids could see them. She had to tear off all the pages to remove that picture. That’s how bad that was.
As much as I agree that you have to reach all ages I feel you could have just written about it and adults would understand the story.
The picture was not necessary to be there.
