Nicola Bruyns of Ballito writes: We visited Salt Rock Beach over the last weekend of the school holidays and were so disappointed!
The bins were overflowing with litter spread all around them, the toilets were grubby, showers were broken and dirty and there were people playing loud music and drinking openly!
As a resident of Ballito, I am so grateful that I get to see the beauty and absolute cleanliness of beaches such as Willards and Clark Bay, so I know that not all of our my impression of Ballito would have been very poor.
Salt Rock Beach needs a proper clean up and the facilities need to be repaired and upgraded.
With the municipal offices situated right over the road, I can’t believe that these facilities have been allowed to deteriorate the way they have.
Thank you to the cleaners, sweepers and staff that keep the beaches along the boardwalk so beautiful.
Can you please, please do the same for Salt Rock Beach?
