This is no longer the case with a huge and dangerous increase in crime, both within the estate and the rest of the town.
Thieves have obviously worked out how long it will take security vehicles to get in and out of the estate.
With the brandishing of handguns and high-powered rifle shots heard regularly, what steps are in place to deal with these dangers?
Can the available security companies assure residents that they will be up for the challenge of protecting estate residents?
