Sharon and Barry Palm of Palm Lakes write:
It was wonderful to be on the receiving end of a selfless act of kindness. Our car had broken down at 10am on the M4 southbound between Westbrook circle and the Genazzano bridge.
The road at this point narrows to a single lane leading into a blind corner with heavy bush encroachment.
One does not expect any motorist to stop and offer assistance in such a dangerous place, notwithstanding the spectre criminality.
Approximately an hour passed as traffic raced by, sometimes missing us by the proverbial whisker.
When Nicole, Kevin and their young lady passenger stopped to kindly offer assistance it was a dream come true.
These young residents of Compensation Road, Ballito gave of their time while we waited for breakdown and recovery vehicle to arrive.
While Kevin worked on our vehicle, the young ladies gave great comfort and support to my wife.
Several days after this incident, Kevin contacted me to enquire about the final outcome of this episode.
A true gentleman. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to such angels!
