Letter: Remember whose right of way

If the pedestrians ignore this rule we are going to have absolute road rage with all the drivers here in Ballito.

Brigid Ewan of Ballito writes: I am so happy to see that the safety of pedestrians is being taken into consideration.

Congratulations UIP.

Here’s hoping that the drivers of vehicles have remembered that pedestrians have right of way when crossing at a traffic light.

We trust that there will be traffic inspectors at each traffic light for a week at least, telling the pedestrians that they can only cross when the green man comes on and then they have to stop when the red man comes on.

If the pedestrians ignore this rule we are going to have absolute road rage with all the drivers here in Ballito.
