Obituary: Mitch’s adventurous spirit lives on

His memorial will be held at Grace Family Church Ballito, Saturday January 12 at 2pm.

It is with great sadness that the Yuill family announce the passing of Michael Alasdair Yuill (Mitch) after a short illness on December 24, 2018.

Mitch was 50 years old and has been a member of the Ballito community for 10 years.

He co-directed Salt Rock based software company Mantis Networks and was based in Zastron as part of an international team supporting the Lesotho goverment’s passport production facility.

Mitch was a thrill seeker, finding adventure at every point.

He was an avid paraglider, 4×4 fanatic, accomplished skier and loved to explore new countries – a passion he shared with his three daughters, Jessie, Amy and Danielle.

He is remembered and loved always by his daughters, his parents Alasdair and Thelma, his sister Natalie and countless friends and family members from all over the world. His legacy of wisdom, purpose, love and finding the fun in life will live on!

His family would like to extend a huge thank you to Mediclinic Bloemfontein and Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg for their immense support and care of Mitch.

We would also like to thank our friends in Ballito for their countless messages, prayers and phone calls of support.

His memorial will be held at Grace Family Church Ballito, Saturday January 12 at 2pm.

The family have requested no flowers; donations to be sent to Lily of the Valley Children’s Village.
