Has the world gone mad, or is it just me who cannot see the need for this panic over Coronavirus?
To date it is said that its adverse effect is less than that of flu, and those who would be most affected are those with compromised health anyway.
So, what is this all about?
The medical doctor who treated the first confirmed case in South Africa spoke very calmly and sensibly and advised everyone to just take a few extra precautions with regard to hand washing and how to cough or sneeze into your elbow and – having been in direct contact with the patient – she was not at all worried about her own health.
So, what is fuelling this?
The world economy is tumbling, stocks, oil, imports, exports – or maybe we should be asking who is profiting from this, who is manipulating this?
Call me cynical, but something does not feel right.
