I had the most frustrating day of my life today.

I tried to get documents sent to ‘Maritzburg to get a copy of my vehicle log book.

I was told to go to the Mtunzini traffic department but, surprise, surprise, there is no traffic department in Mtunzini.

The local police told me to go to Gingindlovu, but they were closed!

I then went to Stanger where I waited in line for upwards of an hour just to be told I was in the wrong queue.

I was directed to another office where I waited for 15 minutes, just to be told ‘Sorry, we can’t help you,’ because I did not live in the Stanger area.

Must the entire country shut down because nobody is prepared to pick up the slack when there is a problem?
