Letter: Shedding some light

"I want residents to be informed and know that I take these concerns seriously and have addressed it with the street lighting department in KDM" - Tommy Du Toit.

Ward 21 Councillor Thomas Du Toit writes:

I have received numerous complaints regarding safety issues from residents due to the constant non-functioning streetlights.

I want residents to be informed and know that I take these concerns seriously and have addressed it with the street lighting department in KDM.

I have it on good authority that these will be attended to shortly and updates will be provided accordingly.

In addition, the potholes on Townsend Road, Ashley Road, Patricia Road and Allen Place are also on the list to be attended to.
