Letter: Is it Huge Dent drive?

Now that Dolly Govender is the Mayor of KwaDukuza, we hope she can fix all the faults going on for years and years now.

Or will she be like America’s Hillary Clinton or Sleepy Joe Biden? So many years in positions of powers, but cannot and did not sort out anything.

Bluntly speaking, Mayor Dolly Govender, can you please fix up roads in Ballito, Salt Rock, Tinley Manor and Stanger, fix the many, many streetlights that work 24 hours or don’t work at all and have the many, many trees pruned etc.

In Salt Rock, Hugh Dent Drive is far worse than a rural road, will the ANC change Hugh Dent drive to Huge Dent drive, as ANC is quick in name changing.

New globes installed in streetlights that work 24 hours. Why was the KwaDukuza photo cell not installed?

Now streetlights work 24 hours, an absolute waste of electricity.

Mayor Dolly, please doll up the areas you govern, as I do not know what exactly KDM is doing with the hard-working ratepayers’ money.

And when getting people to fix faults or provide service etc, ensure they are based on merit and money is only paid when the job is finished.

And work and get the advice of the opposition councillors, as they too want what’s best for the area.
