Letter: Detracted from the visit to Ballito

Family and friends are always pleasantly surprised at what they can enjoy and experience in our “small” town of Ballito.
When we treated some visiting friends to lunch at the Lifestyle Centre this week, it was however embarrassing to have to explain the tattered, torn and dirty canvas under which we sat.
There was a slight breeze and the flapping of the torn canvas made conversation difficult.
The hedges on the edges were beautifully trimmed, the trees in the parking area are now reaching maturity and providing shade to the vehicles and security, as always, present and providing a sense of safe shopping.
This all makes shopping at Lifestyle a pleasant experience.
Pity about the torn canvas spoiling an otherwise superb shopping experience.
