Letter: Great service

"Thank you KwaDukuza Licensing Dept, we need more interventions like this, it proves that good service is possible in SA with the right people in place" - Geoff Biehler.

Geoff Biehler of Palm Lakes writes:

After many visits since June 22 to see if my licence was ready at the Stanger Licencing Dept, I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit this week after a call from a lady called Nfundo.

There were young people in municipal uniforms at the entrance to help direct us.

At the information desk Nfundo quickly assessed my need and instructed one of the young people to take me to the correct station.

At that station was another very efficient lady who understood my problem (thumb prints not working) and took both hands fingerprints instead.

On returning to Nfundo with the paperwork from fingerprinting, she told me that my licence should be ready by the third week in January.

Whoever has organised this service should get a big thank you from the public.

It was night and day different from my previous visits where no information was available.

Thank you KwaDukuza Licensing Dept, we need more interventions like this, it proves that good service is possible in SA with the right people in place.
