Ravin Maraj of KwaDukuza writes:
The honourable president Cyril Ramaphosa represents an apostle for the new dawn that is going to bear down on humankind.
His concerted effort to unite Africa in rallying against Covid-19 and his bold chairmanship of the African Union heralds co-operation and unity among the countries in Africa.
There is hope of an end to violence, in certain parts of Africa.
The inauguration of the honourable president Joseph Biden is a clarion call for a united front in combating Covid-19 and for political and social reform in America.
This augurs well for the future of humanity in terms of rendering Covid-19 innocuous and establishing international cooperation, harmony, love and peace.
Despite cautious apprehension towards Covid-19 vaccines and colossal challenges there is a sense of optimism and hope that eventually this deadly enemy will be vanquished.
Furthermore, differences in political ideology will be refocused towards the common purpose of ameliorating humankind from the morass of inequality, racism, injustice and the plethora of other social anomalies.
Matter can neither be created nor destroyed.
The cosmos is comprised of matter.
Congruently, nature cannot be destroyed.
Covid-19 is an expression of Mother Earth’s repugnance at humankind’s reprobate actions.
Resilient nature wants to reinstate its effulgence.
The sun and not man is at the epicentre of the world.
The cosmic rays of the sun will invigorate humankind with its resonance as this period heralds the age of Aquarius.
The earth must be sanctified from its moribund state by a concerted, honest effort by world leaders.
The hearts, minds and souls of every human has to be refocused through the initiative of world leaders.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world”. And, be conscious of the philosophy that “peace has no path. Peace is the path.”
Only universal peace and love will restore our faith in ourselves and eventually our faith in God.
All’s well that ends well.
