The following may be coincidental, however last week you published 3 letters highlighting the total lack of service delivery, particularly with regard to roads and street lights.
On Thursday we saw 2 teams from Tongaat Asphalt in action, correctly fixing and repairing roads in Salt Rock.

They worked quickly and efficiently, achieving a lot in a short space of time. This in total contrast to the pitiful efforts from the previous week by a team of KDM staff.
We can assume that Dolly Govender and her team read our letters of despair regarding roads etc. and based on the above took some positive action and involved the private sector to do a job correctly.
I would like to thank your paper for allowing concerned residents to air their views in your letters page.
