This is a feel-good story for a change. I would like to give an orchid award to a staff member of Clicks Pharmacy at Mt. Richmore shopping centre.
Last week I was doing my shopping in the store and suddenly the side of my red sandal pulled out.
I was shuffling around trying not to be noticed by fellow shoppers when a staff member called Siza came to my rescue with a tube of glue in hand.
She kindly said she would fix my shoe and so I stood stork like whilst she glued the strap back in place.
There is a zip at the back of the shoe which I was struggling to pull up whilst being in a standing position.
No trouble for Siza, she bent down and deftly zipped up the back of the shoe.
When I offered to pay for the tube of glue, she replied that it was not necessary.
This was outstanding service in this store and she should definitely receive the orchid award.
