#Letter: Raining golf balls at The Glen

"There are some very stupid and totally inconsiderate golfers practicing their drives in the vicinity of this built-up area, which is predominantly a housing estate" - George Mcgregor.

George Mcgregor, chairman of the Glen Homeowners Association writes:

Since the end of last year, residents of The Glen on Simbithi Drive have had golf balls landing in their gardens and smashing into their doors, and this week one landing on and damaging a vehicle.

There are some very stupid and totally inconsiderate golfers practicing their drives in the vicinity of this built-up area, which is predominantly a housing estate.

Very soon some serious damage will be caused to somebody’s property, or worse, an injury to a resident or child.

I ask anyone who knows who these irresponsible people are to please tell them to cease this immediately.

Anyone with knowledge of the location of this makeshift driving range can contact me through the Courier.
