In South Africa you have to renew your license every 5 years. I truly do not understand why?
Once you can drive a bicycle, you can drive it.
Even after 5 years of abstention.
Same with a car.
Even with a car with gears.
I did not drive a car with gears for over 5 years, but when I have to drive it, boum bam!
Off I go! With the gears and it feels so familiar.
I suggest that they should introduce renewal of your license after a certain age (75 plus?), or they should request renewal if you have numerous accidents in a row?
We need change.
This 5 years expiry system for drivers licenses is so yesterday.
The money that is spent to renew licenses could definitely be used for a better cause.
