Irene Joss of Ballito writes:
At the end of November last year when my husband became ill and in need of care, I found myself in a very difficult situation.
After much prayer I contacted Kathy Schultz at Sunrey Care home in Ballito. She was amazing.
Fortunately she had a room for him and took the trouble – as I could not manage alone – to fetch him from my house with a carer.
How can one ever explain the loving, dedicated care he received from Kathy and her team. They are phenomenal!
They go out of their way to care for the residents. Rather than a facility that is formal, this is a homely place filled with loving care.
There are no visiting hours, one is welcome any time of the day or night and another plus was that I could take my dogs to visit my husband.
When he passed away I was once again astonished by the loving care and concern I received.
Kathy organised everything, from the paramedics to the collection of my husband by the funeral parlour.
I cannot ever thank Kathy and her team enough for their dedication and love. May God continue to bless them.
